Overview
In the medieval ages, the Belmont family was kicked from England because of being called demonic. Known for killing Dracula and protecting the people back in the day, Trevor is a drunken man when Dracula attacks the humans for killing his wife with accusations of being a witch. Trevor along with Dracula’s son Alucard and mage Sypha set out to kill Dracula before he destroys the world.
History
The franchise originally started as a game series of the same name back in Septmeber 1986. However, the anime series is based off of Castlevania III (1989) and the most popular game in the series Symphony of the Night (1997). The last game in the series was in 2014 with Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 2. The anime started in July 2017 and gets a new season each year. There are currently 2 seasons with a 3rd one set to come out on Netflix later this year. This series started a renaissance of the series with two game collections and two of the main heros (Simon and Richter) being adding to the newest super smash bros roster

Richard Armitage: Trevor Belmont
The main hero, a member of the Belmont clan who was kicked out of Europe by the church for suspions of witch craft dispite saving the world from Dracula before
Sam Deats: Director
His first directoral work was in the 2014 movie, Silence and is currently working on Season 3 of Castlevania and a Devil may Cry anime
Graham McTavish: Dracula
He seeks revenge for his wife being burnt in the slamen witch trials for trying to help the humans advance to modern medicine
James Callis: Alucard
The son of Dracula and his wife, he fights against Dracula since he believes that his mother won't want revenge on the people who did this to her
Alejandra Reynoso: Sypha
A mage, known as a Speaker in the show, who is also kicked out of England for use of witch craft, despite helping people with it
